I grew up in Comer, so I definitely haven’t traveled far from home.
I accepted Christ as my Savior at an early age at Comer Baptist Church and can hardly remember a time that I didn’t sing or play the piano in church.
During my college years I began attending Colbert Baptist as youth director and then music director for nine years.
Unfortunately I went through a divorce and stepped down from my position there.
I continued to live in Colbert, but had a year or so of healing when Comer Baptist has an opening for Minister of Music,
so I went back there where my Comer family loved and accepted me with open arms. I have been serving there since 1994 and have loved every minute of it!
I live in Comer with my husband of 24 years, Curtis Drake. We have a beautiful daughter, Autumn Drake, who is 22 and still lives with us. Curtis and I serve the Lord together In the music ministry as I lead the worship and he operates the sound system. We would love to have you join us!
